Carefree School of Music is a family-owned and operated private music lessons studio in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Born and raised in Scottsdale, sisters McKenna and Brianna Shelly both began to journey to becoming musicians at a young age. Born into a family of musicians and artists, the girls learned at a young age that playing music was an incredible skill that brought joy to themselves and others. After growing up singing in choirs, musical theater productions, school plays and talent shows both sisters graduated from high school and set out on different paths. Brianna went to Luther College to study Opera performance and Vocal Pedagogy and McKenna traveled to Chicago to study Pop/Rock/Jazz performance and Music Business. They received their degrees in music and McKenna was off to Atlanta and Brianna was off to Germany!

After years apart, honing their crafts and pursuing their passion for performance and education, the sisters came back together in their home town to start the Carefree School of Music. Bringing the highest quality of music education to their community and inspiring other to pursue the endless benefits of music became their mission. They’ve created an environment that is welcoming, energetic and creative and they have a message for you –
